God's creation sings of birth, rebirth, and vivid reminders of promises to come. His love is revealed in every intimate detail.  I observe a wandering tree that appears to stretch its twisted arms upward into a vast unreachable universe just to catch the wind and bend into new shapes. Listening to it praise in sways. I touch the bark. It feels thick and old. Do the cracks reveal new life emerging? I sense the same within my own spirit.

 

I wander through the fields of yellow ochre grass. The softness tickle my toes, as the earth beneath my feet chatter with hidden business as usual. Listening closer...my own heart beats to the same rhythm. Life. It is a gift from God. My feet are clay, but my heart is His, and I know I am secure in Him.

So, I step forward to see what He has in store....
